Interesting day in the neighborhood.
Well hello there everyone, Anna here. This is my first time blogging to you all. Hope ya find yourself returning to this blog daily, hoping that I updated it....Well that's enough of that.
Went through my daily routine today....wake up, look in the fridge, find nothing in the fridge, go to the living room, turn on the tv....watch tv for a while, play piano...and that cycle goes on for about a 4 or 5 hours until my parents come home with food. (ok so, I kinda exaggerated a little there.)
After doing all of that, I decided it was time to go outside and get a little fresh air. Lo and Behold, Taya and her sister Aliana were playing soccer at the park across the street, so I decided to go and kick around with them for a while.
After that, I went inside and Dad had food ready. My dad is amazing. He made Macaroni and Cheese and he had hamburger meat ready to put in it, but he knows I'm not to crazy about hamburger meat in my mac n' cheese, so he called me in the kitchen to dish myself some meatless food before he had put the meat in it. :)
Anyways, so I went into the kitchen and slapped some food on my plate, which consisted of Macaroni and Cheese, Corn, and Cottage Cheese. Interesting combination, I know. So I brought my food into the living room to watch Jeopardy with my mom, and I heard a knock on the door. It was Danny Beechler (one of Kristin's friends). He came over to bring Kristin her homework which she had left in his car. I made Kristin aware of this, and she wanted to talk to Danny, but she was getting ready for the Music Awards Program at Parker, so she wanted me to entertain him for a while, while she was getting ready. So, Danny and I were talking for a while when dad comes outside and says, "why don't you and Danny go jump out on the trampoline for a while?" so, I put my food on the porch (not a good idea, having a blind mom in the family, but I'll get to that later) and we went to the backyard and went to the trampoline. We jumped for a while, and I told him about the memories Kristin and I share on that trampoline. So...after jumping and talking for about 15 minutes, Kristin is finally ready to go. So we jump off the trampoline and we head for the car out front. I hear mom come outside, and I said "MOM, DON'T STEP ON MY FOOOOOOD." It was too late....she stepped on it....It was gone.....ALL GONE!!!! I had only taken ONE bite out of that whole meal. hhhhhhhh.... oh well...I got over it.
Soo.... Off we went to the awards program in which Kristin was recognized for her amazing accomplishments at Parker High School. After that...(okay here is the best part of this whole blog. Are you ready? good, cuz here it goes) we went to Dairy Queen for dessert. I asked my mom, seeing as she stepped on my dinner, if I could get a meal. She finally agreed to get me a chicken salad. We sat down, and Kristin and I shared our childhood memories with Danny, which I think he enjoyed very much. (he basically died of laughter while imagining the moment where I ran into a parked car with my bike, trying to get the dog to go back home.) In the middle of eating my chicken salad, I realized I didn't have enough ranch dressing to finish a delightful salad, so I ran up to the counter to ask for some more ranch dressing. (here's the REAL good part.) While waiting for my turn at the counter, one of the workers was mixing a shake with the shake mixer, turned around to get the lid for it, she gasped and said "ouch ouch ouch ouch." Why? you might ask. I'll tell ya why....SHE GOT HER HAIR STUCK IN THE SHAKE MIXER. That was the funniest thing I have ever witnessed in my life.
After her hair was released, she went to the back to fix her hair. I looked at the shake mixer and I saw a whole lot of hair wrapped around it. I tried to keep my laughter in, but I couldn't help it so I just walked away and went back to sit down, and shared that story with Danny, Kristin, and Sarah.
Later on at Dairy Queen, I was taught the "op language." wopeloplop tophopatop'sop aloplop foporop topdopayop. (Well that's all for today.)
